Up-coming Innovation Forum 2020 in Hanoi

State Agency for Technology Innovation (SATI) in cooperation with Institute for Training, Consulting and Developing Economy (IDE) is preparing to organize the Innovation Forum 2020. This is an activity contributing to improving the efficiency of the project "Promoting the transfer, mastery and development of technology from abroad to Vietnam in priority sectors until 2025, with a vision to year 2030” approved by the Prime Minister.

In recent years, Vietnam has had policies and strategies to improve efficiency in adopting and applying advanced technologies from abroad to domestic production. Innovation Forum 2020 is organized to promote cooperation in technology transfer, application and development, increase efficiency and orientation of importing technology from abroad into Vietnam. This is an activity contributing to improving the efficiency of the project "Promoting the transfer, mastery and development of technology from abroad to Vietnam in priority sectors until 2025, with orientation towards year 2030 ”(Decision 1851/QD-TTg dated December 27, 2018).

The forum will be held at the International Conference Center (No.11 Le Hong Phong, Hanoi), from 13:30, December 18, with more than 200 delegates from state management units, institutes. research, enterprises, domestic and foreign organizations interested in technology importing, transferring, mastering and applying.

The program focuses on discussing issues posed in technology transfer, ownership and development from abroad into Vietnam; Current status of implementing policies to orient and support import and technology transfer in Vietnam over the past time; Enhance human resources training to transfer and adopt new technologies in Vietnam as well as solutions to promote technology transfer, mastery and development from abroad into Vietnam in the current context.

This will be a valuable opportunity for managers, experts, enterprises, investors and scientists to exchange experience in developing and implementing policies on import and technology transfer, sharing difficulties, challenges in international cooperation on science and technology, seeking cooperation opportunities, expanding domestic and foreign markets./.
